MD-80s are terrible

I've flown on JAL MD-81s a fair few times and have enjoyed every ride. Saying that, I have always prebooked my seat so I am up the front.

Very comfortable cabin and the 2-3 seating is great.

Mad dogs kick arse! They are a little bit more cramped than a 757, but I'd still take it over an RJ!

I like MD-80s. They are very quite when you sit in the middle/front.

But MD-80s are so much FUN!
I've always loved going on older jets, and my ride home from Vienna to Copenhagen with a SAS MD80-something in December was no exception...
I'm not that pessimistic either- as long as I get to fly, I don't care what the plane's name is
