Any carrier thats a member of oneworld you can aquire milage on. How many miles, depends on your fare class and the airline/AAdvantage partnership.
One of the acceptions is aquiring AAvantage miles on a BA trans atlantic flight. This is still not do-able. Sadly. My suggestion would be to go to AA.com and look under the AAdvantage FAQ's and milage program rules/benifits for your specific request. Failing that ring the AAdvantage customer suport desk.

Thanks for that. I've tried contacting EI to discover the class code but they have yet to reply.
