My first and only 727 flight. I think it was summer of 01.
I think the flight number was 1225. From SDF-ATL. I don't remember much, it was before I was into planes much. I remember feeling uneasy on takeoff.

I only got to fly on a 727 three times:

    American B727-200 MIA-SDQ and SDQ-MIA (1996)
    Aerocontinente B727-100 AQP-JUL (2004)

My first commercial flight ever was in a 727, in April 2001, MSP-MCO on Sun Country. It'll probably remain my only 727 flight too, so I consider myself lucky I got to fly on one.

My first 727 flight was also my first ever flight:

    July 1968, EA JFK-CLT
    (return flight EA 727 CLT-LGA)
(Don't ask me why we flew out of JFK but returned to LGA. We had to take a bus (Carey Transportation?) from LGA to JFK b/c my mom had parked in the JFK Long-Term lot.)

    My last 727 flights were Nov. 92 UA 722 LAX-SFO, SFO-LAX

In between, I flew 727s on UA, AA, TW, DL, National

alot of AA, NW, and UA 727's(to many to remember, pluss i was fairly young).

i dont think i have ever flown a MD11, but i did fly atleast 1 DC10 back a cuple years ago(right after 9/11 if i remember corectly). dont think i ever flew a L1011 either.

but ya, i used to have alot of those NW colecter cards for 727's. dont know why, they were just alwase the equipment used on the flights we took(mostly BOS-ORD and such)

I think the year was 96 when I was moving to Munich, I flew on a DL 727 from DCA-JFK.

I've noticed that with most of my trips every plane I fly on has the same amount of engines. If I fly on the 747 back from Tokyo I'm usually on the RJ85 comin back to GFK. That flight out ot MUC I was on a 727 and an L-1011, and if I'm on a 777 comin over the pond, I'm usually on the DC-9. Not always that way, but mostly it works out that way, just kinda strange.
