Well, we have threads on the DC-8, 727, and L1011, so why not the DC-10? List the DC-10 flights you have flown on.

I have flown on DC-10s twice, both on World Airways from FRA-ATL. Years were 1999 and 2000. First one was on the CO/World hybrid a/c with the blue tail. We spent a week trying to get a flight to the USA, anywhere on the east coast through the military. Tried to get on C-130s, C-5s, KC-10s, but all were fully booked. On the last day of trying we went to Rhein-Main AFB and were told we could choose between a USAF C-5 to Dover AFB or a World DC-10 to ATL. We chose the ATL flight. Next year we went in the autumn and had no trouble catching the DC-10 to ATL or the World MD-11 flight back to FRA.

Space A flight perhaps? My job in the Air Force indirectly relates to Space A flights. What you went through kinda sounds like what the Space A travelers go through here at Kadena AB. Anyway, yes i have been on a DC-10. UA ORD-LAX. And if you wanna count the MD-11 then yes; World Airways LAX-SEA-OSN-DNA.

Both of my C-141 flights, DC-10 flights, and one of my MD-11 flights have been Space A flights. Great when it works, but when it doesn't you are stuck buying a ticket at the last minute, can really put a dent in your wallet.

I've been on a DC-10 from MSP-AMS as well as MSP-HNL-MSP. I quite liked it, was pretty quiet and kept up very well on the inside by N dub.

I've flown on that aircraft -many- times (albeit with a later operator / reg). In fact, for about a year I flew Gatwick - Bahrain - Dubai - Entebbe - Lusaka (occasionally also Lilongwe) - Nairobi - Cairo - Amsterdam - Gatwick (48hrs in Gatwick & then do it all again).

Also been to Kigali, Bujumbura, Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt, Rome (FCO), Manston, Lome, Heathrow, Harare & I'm sure another couple of places on it too.
