  • Anyone ever flown around the world?

Last Summer, I went to India on DL as a non-rev. We flew FLL-JFK-CDG and then got stuck. The flight to BOM was packed. After I waited for a day we got seats and ended up in BOM just one day late. We had a great vacation, but when we were coming back, everyting was packed. We could not gat on any flight. We were stuck again, and rather than be late for school, my Dad bought tickets for us on Korean Air. So we flew BOM-ICN-LAX-ATL. It was a great trip, desoite not getting on the flights back through Paris, but has anyone here ever flown around the world?
Whatever is necessary, is never unwise.

Yeah, did it spring 2004, started from Stavanger (SVG) and then on to AMS, after a few hours in AMS we got on our flight for SXM. The plan was to stay a few days in SXM, and then on to SJU, but instead we went straight on to MIA, where we spent only one night. Next stop on our trip was LAX for a week and had a really great time in LA. We then continiued on to AKL and spent almost a week travelling around NZ before we went on to SYD. Stayed at a friend in Sydney, and went pubcrawling and all that.. really great! After a fun week in SYD we continued to BKK and CPH before going back to SVG. I really reccomend travelling around the world !!

          Dallas-Tokyo-Heathrow-New York-Dallas

This was back when my dad was traveling alot. During the summers he allowed me to travel with him. We went to Tokyo for 3 days and he had a buisness meeting. I got to ride a bullet train and everthing(man thats awsome) DFW-Tokyo was an AAL MD11, Then we boarded a JAL744 and rode to Heathrow. Then it was a DAL767 to JFK, and then a AALMD80 home.

You non=rev'd to India? Boy are you brave. At AC we discourage employees from using their passes to DEL.

Too often we have to leave them behind.
