    August 22nd:-

    TG214

    Phuket-Bangkok

    A300-600

    HS-TAL

I and my brother woke up in the afternoon. We are parepared to pack the things to HK. The flight is 4pm and we leave around 2pm. We took a van to airport, went though the check-in. After the check-in, we went to buger king to eat a bit. After the buger king, we went to immation, check-in secity, and stand by the flight to Bangkok. There is not many people in International Termial and there is only 2 planes. The other plane was still parked for long times. I saw a purple colour of the tail. Could be a new colour of Thai. What a great for my 1st time to board a new colour. We sat in 64 rows and have view outside. The plane start to taxi and turn the runway toward the sea and took off to the left turn to Bangkok. It is a full loaded flight. The screen was messy because the crew had no times to turn off before takeoff. Enroute to Thailand, I took a inflight pix and approach to the airport. The plane use 15 falps on landing. After the touchdown, I took a another pix of 2 TG A340-500. We arrived in the gate and transit the flight to HK. I like the new colour than old colour because it look nicer than the old one.

777-300 (My 1st time on long one)

    HS-TKJ

We layover in Bangkok and wait for 1 hour to HK. We walk around the shopping, and went to gate. I saw a guy who look like Trevor from hkgspotting. I saw a long 777 and my 1st time to board a long plane. I dencid to take a pix but the tinted windows is hard to see the plane. We board the plane, sat in 33 rows. I sit in the aisle of the next window. Some hour depolyed due to late pax showed up. After the gate, went though the taxi to the runway. Wait for the plane to takeoff and was traffic jam. The plane start to sloop up the RR sounds and took off with nice powerful engine sounds compare to 757. I like the sounds because I am a big fan of RR. Then the plane turn left to HK, and turn down the sounds to criuse. Some meduim tublence and I watch the TV screen. The dinner was start to sevre. I went to the toilet and I came out to back the seat. The crew gave a favour to me for foods. I say *?* The crew to repeat again. I say *?* again because the crew spak too fast and my ears was blocked. They ended it up with a ducks come with a fried rices. The food is good and I read the newspaper. The plane start to approach with a full speed brake from 30,000 to 12,000 , tuen left overworld HK, landing to the runway. The plane land too low to the ground, then touchdown the runway with R. tursters deployed, taxi to the gate. Arrived in about 11pm, took a train to the baggage claim, went to the immation, and pick up a luggages and a golf bag. We took a airport express train, and took a taxi to the hotel. The overall flights was greatness. I like a long 777 than short 777.

Sorry, my spell very bad due to my tying very fast with only one hand. My right hand cant type.

Looks ok to me. Anyway, I was just there, too. I went from Manila to Bangkok on Cathay Pacific on August 23 and returned to Manila on Sept. 2. First time on a 777 for me. I didn't make it to Phuket, though. First time to Thailand and
      I loved it.

        Nice report.

Thai are one great airline, especially on long haul.

Great report pbateson. .Awesome you got to fly on a 773.

What did you feel when you entered the plane and walkign down the aisle.?

When I was on my flight to the philippines on a LH346, I just thought.. Where in the world is my seat? That aisle was endless although I had one of the first rows on Yclass. 30th row, just after the emergency exit rows looking out of the window

It was great and I loved it. Rows 33 is just front of engine. I love to heard the RR sounds when it take off. I sat in H. I can see out the window than the middle seat.

You should sit in 15 rows because there is a front engine of A346. There are many type of differnet version of LH A346 seats.

I decided to fly 773 again. It is very comfortable plane.
