  • Rome - Oslo

    Gardermoen to Rome
We had to be at Gardermoen very early, becuase our plane from OSL to Rome departued 09.30,this caused little time to take pictures.

SAS, Sterling and MyTravel A330 at gate

Here is a picture out of the window somewhere over Denmark I think

Finally Italy, the plane landed on the runway most far from the airport

    One week in Campobaso
For one week I was going to live with an Italian family, in a small town between Naples an Rome called Campobasso. The reason for the trip was to learn about roman history and the Italian way of life. Apart from being in Campobasso I was in Pompeii and Naples, something that was really interesting.

Every evening we went to a local pub for some refreshement, and softdrinks was not the first thing on our mind, something that went on into the early hours..

After a warm week in Italy, we started our tour back home to Norway early in the morning.
We had to reach the plane waiting for us at Rome`s Leonardo Da Vinci Airport.

When we waited for the bus that was going to transport us to the stand I catched this Alitalia I-BIML A319 on her way to gate.

    Going on board LN-RRU .

Taken from the back door before I entered the plane

    Just after take off

Over one of Rome`s 3 runways.

The shadow of the Boeing 737 that the picture was taken from

    lovely beach

After turning north I could get a look at the airport from a very far distance.

Once airborne we were flying over Austria, Germany, Denmark and of cource Norway.
Before we entered the clouds over Oslo.

In Oslo the weather was really bad. not cool to come back to this weather.

Now it was back to school, rain and snow.

Very nice report and photos. I especially like the 3rd one with the lush green landscape and the
bright red Scananavian engine. Great shot.
          Thanks,
