Hi there,
On my 20 minutes flight to a relatively near beach here in Costa Rica, I noticed that the P.I.C took off the plane with full thrust, and later he only modified the propeller position or the two blue quadrants. After takeoff he just lowered the pitch of the blades, less mixture...
And on final, full mixture and full propeller control. Has someone any explanation or any idea why only in Costa Rica
or why only in the Twin Otters this may happen?
I've seen and flown on Cessna Caravans and the pilots yes...they have constant control of the throttle.
