So Janni, maybe you said this before but I didn't see it, why are you going to Australia for a month?

Wouldnt touch BA with a barge pole. Have had nothing but bad experiances on them long haul. VS is 'ok', but dont end up down the back on the 346's - the legroom is dia. QF on the other hand has been generally very good to me over my many trips to Australia. They seem to be getting progressivly better with more food services, fresh fruit every half hour ,the ever so usefull 'snack on Q' bag of goodies, and even hot chocolate before 'bed'
Id do my best to avoid BA if you can. Even in WT+ it sucked.

A good friend of mine works for BA, he's currently looking into an upgrade by the wayWould be wicked
the CPH-AUS return full fare for 26 dec is $9700USD...your clearly not paying $9700 usd to get hereif you were i'd say fly business class for the same price.

While there is a chance your QF 744 flight will have AVOD, there is probably an equal chance the system will have some problems. Seems to be quite a few bugs in the system they need to sort out.

IFE on BA...AVOD - u gotta be kidding!! (No AVOD)
QF...seems to depend. I didn't have it on the 744 but did on the 333.

The answer to the question is that QF beats BA handsdown, especially when it comes to the 744 economy decision. The seats on QF are better, the food is better, the crew is better the whole product is better...definately no way to BA.
I'm about to head down to OZ again the week after next and i'm booked on QF2, so i'll be able to tell you what it's like. I'm on half QF, half BA ticket flights, but all operated by QF and am doing LHR-SYD-ADL on a 744 and 333, then ADL-SYD-LHR on a 73H and a 744. Shouldn't be too bad.I decided to try both- QF on the way there and BA on the way back. What's the IFE like? I've wondered, because some people say it's AVOD, others say it's not :/
Anyway, flight info is like this:
CPH - LHR:
LHR - BKK - SYD:
SYD - CBR:
CBR - SYD:
SYD - BKK - LHR:
LHR - CPH:
Can't wait
James, should I take that as an offer to write a trip report? If so, yes please and thank you!
I know I'll write one- photos and all
