Shortest - KONT to KLAX (supposedly 47 miles). 7 minutes in a 747-400. Takeoff to the east, turn left and intercept the ILS for LAX, climbing to 4000ft. A lot of fun.

            Longest - YMML to KLAX - 7921 miles, also in a 747-400.

The shortest I've heard of is SIN - QPG at 6 miles, in a 767, but realistically there are a lot more track miles flown than that.

No. The flight terminated at OAK. The flight to SFO was a relocation ferry.

My shortest flight was on May 4th/09 from YCD (Nanaimo B.C.) to YVR (Vancouver). eleven minutes in the air, block to block was twenty-three minutes.

The longest has been YVR to SYD (several times). Block to block is 15H25, however we have been up to 16H30 due to headwinds.
