Got to ORD at 5:30, First Check-in unusually full, but i skipped to the front because the others were economy passengers using First check in because the economy check-in was full.
Got seat 2A. Security easy, and entered the Red Carpet Club lounge at about 6:50 am.
Got a coffee and a Chocolate Croissant, along with a free USA Today. Used the wi-fi and went on e-mails,jp.net etc...
Boarding for First Class passengers started at 07:25. Greeted on-board by a more than friendly crew. After the last economy passengers boarded, all First passengers got a pre-departure beverage, most people including us 3, got Orange Juice with Champagne.
Seat was very comfortable and i settled in for the flight.
Push-back on time, and we took off smoothly a little late.
About 35 minutes in, we were served Breakfast, which consisted of :
Scrambled Eggs, 2 Sausages, 2 Rations of Bacon, a Bagel, Mushrooms and tomatoes.
OR
Cherios, Fresh Fruit Salad, Cinnamon Muffin,Yoghurt,Bagel,Honey or Jam,Butter.
I had the first option, and it was VERY good, it was served along with any drink, and i had Starbucks coffee. We recieved complimentary headphones, and i tuned into the XM radio, and flicked through the different channels.
So for the rest of the flight i just relaxed, listened to the XM Radio, and drunk coffee.
We started descent about 55 minutes prior to landing, we did ALOT of circling.
We stayed on a steep left turn, just stuck in a left turn for, it must have been 9-10 minutes.
Then when we levelled out, we made another short left turn and then made the smoothest of all touchdowns onto the runway. We parked up, disembarked, said goodbye to crew, and headed to the meeting at 2pm.
