Welcome to my latest trip report. This time, it's describing my latest travels this summer. Overall the summer was amazing not just because of all the flying involved but also due to the fact I saw nearly my entire family from all around the country. I also had the privilege to visit new cities such as Reno and Las Vegas. So, I hope you enjoy the pictures and narrations as you look through my report. Also note I have separated the different trips throughout the summer into sections.

Again, like I have before for this particular flight, I awoke at 3:00AM. Today, my mom and sister would be accompanying me to the airport. Our schedule included Delta #1972 to Atlanta where we'd split up. My sister would go to Boston and my mom and myself would continue to Cleveland. So, after checking flight loads and showering we started our trek to the airport.
Tampa International Airport, Florida
4:45AM
We got in a little late because, believe it or not, we got mixed up with traffic at 4:30AM! Anyways, we did our usual check in and got through security quick. When we got to the gate we saw that there were about 60 standby on the list. Good thing we were the first three!

This flight was your basic 1.5 hour flight. We were fortunate to get first class on this one so we had a little more room. We got your basic snacks. Plus, I got to see the sunrise making for an interesting environment in Atlanta.

After we arrived in Atlanta we had to make our way to the other end of the terminal for my sister's flight to Boston. After waiting a bit she got on fine and was on her way to Boston. Afterwards, my mom and I went to our gate (C46) for our flight to Cleveland. I did a little touring and before I knew it, we were cleared on our final flight of the day.

Well, I had an early morning birthday. I was officially 17 and I get to fly. One problem though. I had listed myself on a flight to MSP connecting to SLC then to BOI. But, when I got to the airport they announced the flight was delayed from 6:30AM to 10:30AM, meaning I would miss my connection. Anyways, we got my grandpa up and went to the airport. My mom was with me but she was headed back own to Tampa.

After arriving at the airport we went to go check in. I checked in for my flight to Minneapolis and my mom for Tampa, but, her connecting flight to Tampa from Detroit had been canceled so she listed herself on the later departure from Detroit. We went to her gate and I watched her flight leave. The, I got to mine right as they were announcing the delay. So, I called and woke my dad up and had him list me to Detroit continuing to Salt Lake City and then Boise.
