Greetings all,
Being new to the forums, I though I would firstly post a trip report from last year that show 'my backyard'. I live about 100kms from Emerald in Central Queensland, and regularly drive there to connect with flights to Brisbane and beyond. Currently Emerald is only serviced by Qantas through it's regional arm of QantasLink.
Most flights from and to Emerald are usually full with passengers associated with the nearby mine sites and agricultural industry. It is sometimes impossible to book a seat for some days even months in advance. More information can be found about Emerald's Airport HERE.
