I have flown on the E-195, which is pretty much the same aircraft - just slightly longer. I can tell you that it is perhaps the nicest narrowbodied aircraft I have flown in to date. The 2+2 arrangement is very good for passenger comfort, the windows are quite large and the general cabin design is very pleasant - nice cabin architecture, including good big luggage bins.
All in all, I can tell you that it is a very nice aircraft; I'm sure you will enjoy your flight, whatever version of the E-jet you fly in.
I've been on KLM's E-190, Delta Connection's E-170 and Alitalia's E-170 and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. You can look forward to a flight that definitely has a "big airliner" feel rather than a "regional jet" feel.
hmm,..... so, I am awaiting the 7 September. BES-CDG in an E190 and onwards CDG-LUX in a E145.....
I have flown on a E175 on AC, which is just slightly smaller than a E190. The E-Jets are very spacious. You don't feel that you are in a regional jet. I would say it's almost as comfortable as in the A320. The ERJ145 would be another story...
I flew twice on LOT's E170's and, like others said, I felt almost like on a A320 or B737.
I have flown once on a LOT E170 and I would say it was a very pleasant experience much better than any other narrow body(other than a Boeing 707 which is a real airplane).I got the feel of the whole aircraft being business class like.
I would not only say it is down to the 2+2 seating because I did not feel flying in a FlyBe Dash-8-400Q which also has 2+2 was as enjoyable.
