TRIP REPORT - Virgin Australia (Skywest Airlines) - ATR72 - EMD-BNE-EMD - 1ST DAY OPS

Morning all!

I've finally finished my trip report from a couple of weeks ago flying on the first ever Emerald-Brisbane sector operated by Virgin Australia. I have posted it on my blog - you can access here - http://tinyurl.com/754fk6j

As you'll see, it was a quiet start to the service with 25 pax on the flight, although the afternoon Brisbane-Emerald was a lot busier. I have since seen a couple more Virgin departures from Emerald that have been quite busy!

I wish Virgin Australia all the best for the future of this service!

Great pictures. I've only flown on the Dash, never on an ATR so it was nice to see the interior.

I was surprised when you said they gave you something to eat and drink as I flew Virgin twice in January, ADL-MEL and MEL-SYD and they charge for everything.

As the flight is operated by Skywest Airlines - a full service airline in West Australia - I believe they will always distribute a 'snack' to passengers!!
