Airline: China Southern Airlines
Flight: 309
Aircraft: Airbus A321-231
Registration: B-6319
Departure Airport: Hong Kong - International (Chek Lap Kok), Hong Kong
Arrival Airport: Beijing - Capital (PEK), China
Seat: 38K (Economy)
There's a great choice of airlines to take you from HKG to PEK. Many of them have a few flights per day. The air fare on this route varies just a little bit, so you can choose the best time for your trip. Flight 309 operated by CZ was not the cheapest, but the time of arrival was convenient for me.
Chek Lap Kok is a big nice airport with a lot of space, easy navigation and quick immigration. Clean zones are a bit crowdy because of huge passenger flux.

Our aircraft: new Airbus A321. Cabin comfort was very good. The plane was clean and the seat was comfortable (better than economy class on many other traditional airlines). Nice music before take off and after landing. Flight attendants were efficient and attentive. Maybe not so many smiles, but it's China. Departure and arrival were according to the schedule. As for entertainment, there were just inflight magazines and overhead screens.

Baggage arrived shortly. One more good thing - it is easy to find an airline representative at the airport. Overall, quite a good enjoyable experience.
