It was a cold and blustery Friday night on December 19th. Luckily I called ahead and found out that the flight was running 4 hours late. It was originally supposed to leave at 6:50 pm, but left at 10:05 pm. Delta was very considerate with us, they brought in drinks and snacks from the Crown Room Club. The plane pulls into gate A6 B. Much to my suprise I find that the plane I am flying on is a Comair plane with the original livery it was painted with. The paint was chipping, but once I got inside the airplane, I was home. All of the seats were in 2-2 seating with plush leather seats. The flight attendant, Pamela was quite funny. She cracked jokes during the entire flight. Our CRJ did a very fast taxi out to runway 25. We took off and climbed to a cruising altitude of 24,000 feet. Since this flight was flying into DCA the 30 min sit down the last part of the flight did not allow the flight attendant to do a full service. She came around with a basket of snack mix, Snyders pretzels, and those Biscoff cookies which were really good. She then passed out bottled water. I chatted with her most of the flight, and much to my suprise, she passed out peppermints like 10 minutes before we were supposed to land. The pilots did a flawless job landing and taxied into gate A 22 B. Got off the plane and it was 20 degrees out. Got our bags (which were first off for some reason), and went home to Maryland.
