  • tomcats return from last deployment (+vid)

Well, the day is finally here. The last 2 F-14 squadrons are back in nas Oceana following their last deployment. The last Tomcat will be flown to AMARC storage center September.

The vid is sweet, there is a 22 ship formation flyby!

Amazing sight.....would have loved to have been one of those photographers! She was an amazing aircraft....too bad she had to be retired.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that one will eventually end up in a heritage flight

^^Dedicated or not, we've always wanted to be a tomcat pilot or any pilot for instance. Although I'll never be a pilot, For g-ds sakes, Im in the F&B business, haha but since my aviation enthusiasm is big that falling in love with these beautiful cats is not that hard..

They will be missed. Saluté !
