            That's it.
Maybe we shouldn't show squadron markings, makes it a bit to easy for those who know who operates what?

F-15, probably an E, but hard to tell

Is that a tailhook? If that's the case my guess is F-14

that was a great shot Bruno, I was going to post a rear end of an A model showing the tail hook as well.

regarding the navy aircraft, I didn't look up the unit but because the markings were there it did narrow down that it was a Navy aircraft. I knew it wasn't a fighter because of the tail and it didn't look like a Greyhound or Hawkeye.

As long as you post North American Aircraft I can play, once you start posting other countries I'm out

With a picture like that, it's easy to tell what model F-15 you're looking at. If the tailhook is covered under a fairing with doors and it has turkey feathers (the covers over the exhaust nozzle actuators) it's probably an A or B. If no turkey feathers and the tailhook is covered, it's a C or D. If there's no fairing or doors and no turkey feathers, it's an E.

I have had a request to close thread #2 but as long as you all play nice I shall leave both open for now.

Take it easy now ... Jid
