  • Crash of a Tornado of the Luftwaffe

Today at 1505LT (1305 GMT) a German Tornado fell down in Lauterbrunnen/BE in Switzerland. This plane took off Emmen/LU and was perfoming a trainning flight over Switzerland and hit a mountain at the end of a valley.

One of the 2 pilots is alive, but there are still no news about the second pilot. Hope they will find him.

article in french. Plane was flying apparently too low and the rescue of the officer who survived was a very tricky one as he was hanging under his chute on a big cliff blown by very strong winds.
          black box were found.
All respect to the pilot who lost his life.
