Looked like some kind of light twin?

I like to think that people don't do such stupid things with their PPLs as smuggle drugs. Now was the Twin engine expected to turn around when it was being trailed by the military in order to not be shot down?

Wow - Tom Clancy territory here, what ? No sympathy for the druggies - but it's the king pins that need "taking down".

The twin looks like a Seneca, the attacker was a Super Tucano and as for the film platform, possibilities are numerous. So it can be
                a C130B
one of the very last Buffalos
one of the newly delivered CN295s
a Xavante (Brasilian licence built MB326)
                a C95 (a Bandit in FAB parlance)*
                list goes on

They got what they deserved. Definitely an interesting video. How often do these druggie shootdowns actually happen though?

Probably not often, once in a blue moon when they can eventually hook up one after lots of patient work from informers, roving detectives and all the other unsung Heroes, collecting clue after clue to get something,

Actually, the camera aircraft is a US aircraft, most likely a King Air as that is one of the mainstays of the Multi-nation counter-drug force that operates in South America. We also have E-3s, RC-12s, and other assorted support aircraft participating on behalf of the US.

Also, the aircraft doing the shooting is a T-27 (EMB-312) Tucano like this one, not a Super Tucano.
