  • What do you think about Ebay?

    Hi.
Like the subject tells you I want to know what people think about Ebay.

My thoughts are that it's a great opportunity to get things you won't get out anymore for small ammount of money. But it turned too big. I can't understand (and don't want to understand) how people can spent every minute of their free time or in some cases every minute of their life to sell every kind of products. And where will the world go, when we sell every shit on Ebay which would've went to the garbage three years ago. Some people seem to be so lazy that they sell the empty coke bottles or used toilet paper (only examples to underline my oppinion) instead of going more then five meters away from the computer to bring it to the garbage...

Just my thoughts, now let the discussion begin.

What do you think about Ebay?

I like Ebay a lot and also use it a lot. Best way for me to get timetables from Delta, and to sell all the stuff that is everywhere in our house, plus what is all stored in the back of our house. I also plan on becoming an Ebay agent as soon as I have finished school (try to get a job in Germany these days). I already know several people who don't know how Ebay works and who would let me sell it, and I get my 10%. So I have to say:Ebay rules .

I've bought 2 antique cameras, 2 collectible (full) Coke bottles and an autographed photo of Lance Berkman. No problems yet. If you're gonna buy, find a seller with a good rating.

I've browsed on Ebay quite a few times just to see what's up for auction however I haven't bought anything yet. Why Ebay you say? Well, like the the old saying says "One man's junk, is another man's treasure"

I've got mixed feelings about ebay. It is a good place to find things that you need, and cheap! I'm currently bidding on a new Macintosh system to replace this trashy windows pc (I should have one in about 20 hours )

The shortcomings are also there, such as considerable attempts at fraud (such as letters claiming to be from the ebay admin that weren't), as well as the fact that my original ISP went under, so I had to open up a new account to use e bay since my original ISP address was no longer valid (all my good reputation ratings and feedback from my previous account is now gone, and I actually have been barred from bidding for a few computers just because I have right now zero feedback being a "new user".)
