Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung, 3 of the major cities in Taiwan plunged into chaotic scenes early sunday morning as opposition parties supporter marching at the local high courts.
Doors smashes, barriers set up by police torn apart, injuries reported.
In Taipei, thousands of people marching through President's Palace demanding recount.
Meanwhile, US decideds to invervene the dispute as its representative in Taiwan will visit both sides in Sunday afternoon.

Taiwan President Election result is out, current ruling party DPP scored 6471970 votes. Opposition parties scored 6442452 votes.
There are 16507179 eligible voters in this election, 13251719 voters voted, at least 330000 votes are invalid.
The result created disputes as the DPP only won the election by just 0.23%, 30000 votes. Opposition parties to launch lawsuits demanding recounts.
Meanwhile, both 2 referendum questions did not past as only 46% of voters voted. Referendums requires more than 50% voting rate in order to decide whether an issue is passed or not.
