Minimum Age...

I am trying to get a job at Panera Bread. The one near me is hiring. What is the minimum job for after school/weekend jobs?

In virginia.. i think the law is.. When you are 15 and under.. you can only work a max of 3 hours or something like that. 16 and up, Anythings fair game. :P

16 is the minimum age to work

In NJ it's 14 I believe, except most places won't hire until 15, 16, or 17.

BTW, I love Panera bread, but around here I think you've got to be 18 to work there.

Kroger and Meijer grocery stores hire 14 year olds here in Ohio. I worked at Arby's when I was 14/15, so fast food is an option.

They can't work past 6pm on weekdays and can only work 2 hours. Might vary by state.

If that doesn't work, I have a friend who worked at a gas station (if that's an option) last year at 15....also here in Ohio.

How is that fast food work? I was reading about most chains treating their employees badly, although the book didn't mention anything about Arby's.
