This reminds me of my neighboor's elder son, who listens to TECHNO pumpumpumpum I also wage my war by shooting RedHotChillyPeppers, Joe Cocker, Rolling Stones, SuperTramp, Sheryl Crowe, Phil Collins and MORE until exhaustion of my enemy

Ah .. the late night music arguement is generally resolved by the 5am lawn mowing the next morning ...

The outdoor party all night is resolved by the "blood and bone fertilizer" being watered into the yard closest to their BBQ.

The motorbike up and down the park beside the yard is resolved with razor wire at neck level (you dont' want to be caught doing that though).

My family has had some interesting neighbours......even mindboggling haha. Probably among the worst are the ones involved in kittengate (see my post in the pets that died thread for info).

Mum and dad have told me about this one woman who used to live next to live in the house next to us, and would come over to use the telephone. This was in the mid-1970s, before I was born. She would sit on the couch and use the phone to make personal calls (even long-distance ones). Oh, and she used to smoke inside the house- you would see this pile of cigarette ash on the floor, hidden away out of sight on the carpet!!!!!!!!!! That neighbour was probably the worst, she really did take the cake.

Another woman was just crazy. She (or her partner) was on prescription medication and one day she came over to the house, laughing. She told mum that her kids had taken the medication. Mum told me the woman was acting as if it was the funniest thing that had ever happened. A trip to the hospital was made.

Another time, in 1996, we had these _weird_ people. They weren't offensive, or angry, or troublemakers etc. They had come from the Northern Territory I think (because the license plate on their vehicle was from the NT). Anyhow their vehicle was a bus- and I mean a BUS- it was a mother of a bus. Anyhow they took up the lease on the house next to ours and even though they had a house, they chose to sleep on the roof of the bus. It was strange because they were up high enough and close enough to see into the shower cubicle in the bathroom. Whenever I or someone in my family wanted to take a shower we would cover the window or at night switch the bathroom light off. I spoke to them (over the fence) after they had moved in to say hello and welcome them to the street. They were polite people, and I remember the mother had a 'supermarket shopgirl' permed hairdo. They were good neighbours all in all though.
