  • Any memories of the vet?

As many of us know, Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia, which hosted Eagles and Phillies games for some 33 years, was torn down last weekend.

Being from Philly myself, this was quite emotional for me, seeing as that I had many memories of the vet, from when I was a kid to the second to last baseball game played there. Do you have any memories at the vet?

When I was younger, my father would take me every other weekend to Phillies games on the subway. The train all the way to the stadium would be packed with excited fans, and the stadium was sometimes a riot scene. Those were the good times...

Flew over it in a Delta 727 years ago while the Phillies were playing the Mets. A little too high to see any action from the game, but you could see the players on the field without being able to distinguish who was who.
