Today I checked my email again and found 14 emails from local people, some of which I know, but each one had a file attached. I scanned every file, and each file had W32.Netsky.D@mm found...

The odd thing is that many of the emails are local, but I don't know how sent them. For instance, one came from an army computer at Fort Drum, one came from the Watertown City School District, one from the Carthage Central School District (10 miles away), one from the Davidson Auto Dealership (a few miles away), one from a local judge, and one from Collegeboard.com. I never emailed any of these places or people and have no idea how these viruses ended up in my email.

Anyways, looks like those of you who mentioned a virus were right.

Now one question (particularly to ADG)- When will these emails stop?
Fly Raleigh-Durham International, with direct flights on Air Canada, AirTran, American Airlines, American Eagle, America West, Continental Airlines, Continental Express, Delta Airlines, Delta Connection, jetBlue, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Express and US Airways to:

Have had the same problem with a virus picking up (aka "spoofing") my e-mail address...also happened to a couple of tye YahooGroups I run. Just ignore them and they will eventually stop...whatever you do DON'T open up any files you are unsure of.

Same problem here. I get a dozen of these everyday, sometimes even from email-addresses stored in my address book. "Left click, delete."
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."
