Another NEW GUY to this site - really like it, so thanks for having me along!

I hope to contribute soon...as of now, I am having trouble with posting photos as I keep getting "user awaiting verification" notice...perhaps this is normal and will pass so I can upload photos soon.

I would like to upload a photo of my own plane so folks can see it moving along and my family/friends can watch me while I am out flying - N714AJ, a humble little 1977 Cessna 150 with ADSB in and out.

Background: Flew with the USAF for many years...AC-130H, AC-130U, and C-130H as a navigator. Now retired and a teaching faculty at the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA, USA. I notice a lot of my UK brethren here - I was once stationed in East Anglia, RAF Sculthorpe and Mildenhall, with time at Bentwaters-Woodbridge during the Cold War.

Again, thanks for having me and I hope to contribute in the future.

My name is Rich and I'm a professional headshot photographer by trade. however, Im also an airplane enthusiast.

I can't tell you why, perhaps its the adrenaline rush of flying, but I really do enjoy being airborne.

I might have gotten addicted to flying when my uncle (who was a pilot) took me up in his little airplane many years ago. He let me fly (in mid air) for a bit. barely touching or moving any controls, I managed to drop a few hundred feet. I suppose I was intrigued.

I think it would be pretty cool to make some headshots and portraits of pilots and their planes. But, perhaps thats wishful thinking.

Congratulations for the forum. I like airplanes and I like Flight Simulator X, and my favorite plane is DC3, but I just fly with it. The airplane I use is always the Cesna.
