Why do you watch FOX News then?

You guys can only watch one channel at a time? Ever hear of picture in a picture? Or just time shifting?

Yes, we did hear about these toys, but I for myself don't have them. I prefer watching one channel, and still knowing what I have seen at the end, instead of shifting pictures in a picture, without a clue what it was all about.

And, what sense should it make to have CNN and as picture in the picture FOX News and as picture in the picture CBS and as picture in the picture ABC? They are all broadcasting the same.

        Regards,
        Peter

"They are all broadcasting the same.."

Really? they are all the same over there? Maybe that is why you only have 35 channels?

            I agree.
That's a good argument for more channels.

Peter, maybe you should just stick to one channel at a time if your having that much trouble with the content.

Anyone else having this much trouble?

Hmmm, ask Peter Arnett. Even the Liberal biased MSNBC has had enough and shown him the door.

Myself, I am doing very well thanks. You would be surprised how long it takes to "surf" through all these channels. Hopefully you'll get the chance someday.

Just a thought, you don't think they are limiting what you see over there on purpose do you? Why would they do that?

A German station, for example, has no reason to hide all the bad things that both, the Iraqis and the Americans, do. They are not under the pressure of the US governemnt. Neither are out own channels, or those from Austria, Italy, France, etc.

If you want to know what is really going on, watch anything, except US and UK channels.

                    Regards,
                    Peter

Your right, they are not under any pressure from the U.S. Government, either are ours! We have something called the First Amendment. Works like a charm......

Hey, if you knock out your channel, the French, Italian, and German channels, you only have 31 left!

JeffM, we have four national channels, and I get 2 from Austria, three from France, two from Italy and, my best guess, about 15 from Germany, plus BBC, CNN and the usual music and sports channels.

                        Regards,
                        Peter

I'm just curious, do you have any like weekly shows over there? For example we have "Friends" "CSI", and such.

I think they should be broadcast pretty much everywhere. Maybe by different partner channels, but they most probably are broadcast everywhere. I get them here.
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

Yes, we do get these soaps here, they are even synchronized in German language, and thereby loose a lot of their original humour .

Yeah, I guess Joey saying "How youuuu doooiinnnnn?" would sound lousy in german.
