  • Canon D30 action at the Huntington Gardens

I was at the Huntington Gardens Botanical preserve and museum last weekend. It's a giant park in Pasadena, very nice. Armed with a D30 and my 75-300 and a borrowed 28-80, I took these shots. The quality on some blew me away.

This was in the Japanese Tea room near the oriental garden. Handheld @75mm 1/30th f/4 ISO200 NO IS.

This one was 1/250th f/9.5 ISO200...I was lost in the green of the gingko trees...

    Some others...

She may be an old camera but she gets the job done when in good hands!!!

You should go to the Getty and get some shots.

I can't tell the D30 users how much I'm amazed of the image quality the CMOS produces!! Are you sure Canon didn't lie about the 3 MP.

              Great pics Clovis!

It's a 2160x1536 final image...but they're so silky and sharp that you can use every pixel!!!
