Well. I just thought, I'll wait until NYC has arrived in the New Year. So, who likes to wait together with me.
And who has already arrived?
Buenos Aires. Rio de Janeiro. Lisbon. Paris. London. And Lohausen Intl.
The German long haul is alive since 1955, 69 years and still kicking.
The Gold Member in the 747 club, 50 years since the first LH 747.

At least for all who live in New York, and East of that.
I haven't seen pictures from NYC yet, but Sydney (Australia) was quite impressive.
And what about the weather in America? Here, the New Year begins with +16°C (!) .
A little bit too much for a winter night, if you ask me.
PS: And what about people who are alive in the year 2023, to begin with. President Joe Biden (80), so, my respect goes to all men and women who today are 80 years old. Not all of them like to be mentioned on an international aviation forum, not even if they are well known in Germany and in Berlin, and not either
although his son is very close to aviation. Congratulations, nevertheless.

Reason: 80 is a good number to reach.

...ahm. Still concerning NYC in the year 2023. Another girl still is alive, not yet 80 years, not by far.
Before I resolve this mystery, among pilots it is clear that an aircraft always is female, isn't she. Especially if we talk about my favorite aircraft of all times:
JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!
The 744 is alive. One of the best news in the very very young year 2023. Again, dear greetings to NYC.

Btw, I still don't know on which airport you sit, but nevertheless.. I like to continue where I stopped one or two days ago.
