If you’re short on people to handle such issues you should probably recruit local spotters who are better aware of the situation. They’ll be able to handle it more efficiently and I’m sure there are volunteers.
yes it’s a big community but still it isn’t an excuse that 99% of the whole cheating we get on JP comes from China

we simply absolutely NEVER have cases of multiple accounts, camera or photo sharing coming from other countries, that’s just a fact (or maybe 1/2 cases per year)
But… we get such cases on a DAILY basis from China so yes, it’s a big issues not only for us but for the whole rest of the community as dealing with that daily cheating is extremely time consuming and demotivating for us.
And finally getting lied to your face is also a big issue and there again, instead of getting honest answers and apologies for the wrong doing, we mostly get lies and more lies. It’s only when we show the evidences that we do get apologies and that’s just too much time wasted.

What your community needs is a total change of policy and a regulation coming FROM you guys. the bad apples, and there are many, are ruining the reputation of your whole community and it’s time for the honest spotters to stand up and educated those who are not willing to respect the rules.

A good first step would be to all stop using numbers, codes or stupid “funny” games as id- why don’t you guys use your real name like any normal person ? That would be a fantastic first step. Last week, for the record, I’ve asked 8 spotters from China using just numbers as id to contact us to change their names… only to be ignored by ALL of them. Now I’ll need to block those accounts, then we will get emails, I’ll need to unblock the accounts, reply to the emails… all wasted time for things that just shouldn’t happen ( either using numbers as id or ignoring admins emails/messages)

So yes, to the honest Chinese spotters, thank you warmly. But we will need your help to get rid of the cheating and for that, we need you to educate all those who are not willing to respect our simple rules. Hope you’ll be able to help us there

    have a nice day
    Alex

Some teenage spotters see uploading to JetPhotos as a means to show off. Unfortunately, many simply won't listen to our advice, and we're not in a position to enforce the rules. We too have suffered significantly from them: a number of spotting locations have been rendered unusable due to their irresponsible actions.

The 10-digit number IDs are usually QQ (Chinese instant messaging software) account handlers, same as their email. Chinese people don't use email a lot, many just don't have the habit of checking email regularly. For various reasons people don't want their real names showing up on the internet and teenagers love anime IDs, but indeed some IDs have crossed the line.

Seeing this type of "request for reopening an account" thread, from a guy named "CCA114" made me laugh and I was like: Not again...
I mean yes I'm also from "that country", but why are the rules so hard to follow? You and your friends deserves a permanent ban.
Hate seeing someone posting this kind of thread and knowing they're Chinese. If you don't understand the regulations, just don't open an JP account. If you don't know English just google translate, but you understand everything. Who knows if you're just making up an excuse or not.

It would be great if the JP crew can just ignore and leave them banned next time you see this kind of request. It's simple: The crew won't ban a random person, it's your mistake after all.

In China, there are some things that need to be added, and after 2020, there are many young observers who are unaware of the rules and copyright awareness.

Jetphotos, like many papers, is a personal work that is copyrighted. If there is false behavior, or if the content is questioned by the management, it should be punished or reasonably clarified. But young people, especially many under the age of 18, are not complying with the basic requirements of the website, which also makes it difficult for screeners. I support strict vetting of all accounts, which is also the goal of making the site work more smoothly.
