  • A beginners tutorial for sound

With a little help of one professional (written, old school, experienced, paper) sound magazine, that exists since 1978 (!) and with the help of the cute little store where I bought this headphone,
I have found out a fact.

If and when you should perceive more or less loud humming once you connect your headphone to your computer, then

according to two rather experienced sound engineers, one from the est 1978 sound magazine (since a few years based in Euskirchen), and one from that cute est. 1972 "little music store" (!),

it is always the fault of the sound source (!).

Ask me if you need the name of that two very helpful companies.

And that's the reason why I open this topic. I operate a rather good motherboard, with the best chipset which is available for this cpu socket (intel Z590 for 1200). And what happens if you connect a good headphone to this mobo?

Right, humming occurs, so that you even doubt if you've bought a flawless mobo. And how did I achieve the full really quite good quality of the new mobo, without humming.

Well. It is like with fast car. If you love your fast car, you buy the expensive Super Plus fuel, recommended by the manufacturer.

And I bought a Brennenstuhl 26000 Ampere Steckdosenleiste with protection against overvoltage, with six sockets.

Since then I have a new problem. Since then, my computer sound is so clear and clean, so that I am able to hear when a soundfile or a song has been converted (from vinyl to mp3 for example)

on a rather noisy mobo, or on a good mobo with a noisy bad Steckdosenleiste.

PS: My headphone since really rather a long time (6 or 7 years?) is an AKG K240 Mk II . Good enough to hear whether it is operated on a crystal clear background, or not.

100% pure silence is the result, if we stop or pause a simulator or a video or a song,

at least if you own a completely noisefree background on your system, and as I said, then the source data (mp3 or video or ...) is responsible for more noise or less noise.

A quite astonishing experience, I own songs which have been converted from vinyl to mp3 in the year 2002.

And only since a couple of months, I know, the one who converted it should've better used a motherboard with a noisefree background...

And how do I see that. Well. Before you start the song, 100% pure silence, and when you press the play button first of all there comes a humming sound, and only after that the song begins...

PS: A good reason, for songs that you love, to convert them again from vinyl, now and today with a completely noisefree background.
