Acceptance Ratio

I’m not complaining or anything I was simply curious who else has noticed the declining acceptance ratio. I’m actually considering taking all my photos out of the queue. I haven’t been on JP for that long but I’ve never seen it this low. At time of writing it was 29.93. That could be normal, I don’t know.

Personally, I ignore it. Since I know most of my photos are of a probably acceptable quality, I don't really mind. It's just a stat, so as long as your photo quality did not decrease, you should be okay.

Meh. Over a span of a week, the acceptance rate could fluctuate quite a bit. But over the last month? Just above 60%, which is ~normal, historically, across the whole platform. I think it is on the lower end over the last 1 year than in previous years, but a large part of that could be issues with the forum and people not being able to upload though the normal avenues.

My ratio has been hovering around 80-85% for I'd say 2 years now but it really depends on what photos you decide to upload to the queue.

I think the discussion is the overall ratio and not an individuals ratio.

In that case I'd say around 60% overall ratio sound about right for the normal queue. Sometimes I've seen the queue show up as 0% for some reason but it gets back to normal later on

The upload queue of the experienced ex Elite contributors has been cut to 20% of their original size. This downgrade of the global acceptance ratio is a consequence representing this change.

Actually what we noticed is exactly the opposite.

Those 20 slots made the ex Elite way more selective with their uploads which is an excellent thing.

The overall acceptance ratio over the last month has improved by 2-3%, it's not significant enough to draw conclusions but the limitation of slots for ex Elite has definitely helped getting in the right direction.
