Hm. Yes. That's what I had expected. Because I know one jetphotos member who is here since 2003 ('Dutch').

And I am here since more than 16 years.

But who told you all these details? Your father?

[Don't take me all too serious..]

    Greetings, and, yes,

A Happy New Year for all of us,

as probably another real winter child who I like had said it one week ago (born March 8th 1959). I haven't yet watched him this year, which is clearly my fault.

'These are the NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt' .

I so very much love this announcement, since almost 10 years (June 2015). Greetings!

... and I don't know if Mr Lester Holt still has older male relatives, here on my side they're gettin less and less. So that although a litte bit older than Lester Holts son, (don't ask me where I know these details from.... ), I'll sooner or later have to face the truth.
If somebody likes to talk to the tribal elder here on my side, this more n more will become my task.

Imagine a woman who loses her younger brother, born October 1958 . And she's lost him forever on December 24th 2024 due to lung cancer, age only 66 .
A chain smoker since 50 years or more.

And I hadn't the chance to ask him if he knows this song, which obviously must be from my fathers vinyl cabinet (dt.: Plattenschrank).

The Beatles - The Long and Winding Road (May 1970)
      - composer and lead singer: Sir Paul McCartney MBE

      "...you left me standing here"

      Herr Jesus, again one less.

...and always when I think about my father (1945-2009), one master guitarrist MUST be mentioned. This time from my own vinyl cabinet, once upon a time I must've discovered him on my radio,
but here on my side he nowhere occurred previously, not in my fathers vinyl cabinet, nowhere.

Born March 30th 1945 . He is Eric senior if somebody else (*1978_) is Eric junior...

        A musician since 1962.

"I got a problem, can you relate"

        Promises (September 1978_) .
        - singer and lead guitarrist: Mr Eric P Clapton CBE

And I quite often think, why isn't this song at least once a week on my radio when I wake up.

More of my Breakfast songs: The Lightning Seeds - Change (1995), ...

NO German radio station has ever played this song for my breakfast, at least not at 06:01 CET,

at least not this year, 2025.

A 30 year old song, why not?!
