Another clue would be the fact that most people visit that particular area for shopping, eating and other urbane activities (i.e. they don't go out of the city).

The daily KLM flight also begins with the number 8 and is operated with a 744.

                    Surprisingly, yes!

That bay with the three beaches is called Tai Long Wan (see arrow), meaning Big Wave Bay in Cantonese. I used to hike there every weekend in winter, but stopped a few years ago due to the growing amount of schoolwork I had to do.

As you can see, it's quite far from the city (generally the area bounded in red), away from all the skyscrapers, noise and crowds.

                    Anyway, it's your turn aloges.

Asian Brushstroke, I've often wondered how the "remote" parts of Hong Kong look like, thanks for this bit of a clue!
So where is this? I have blanked out the ad on that "lifeguard tower" so you won't be able to look that up!

I've been there quite a few times and loved every one of it!

Well, it's an urban beach - of the kind that you can reach with a bus (if taking those was a real option in that place). Plenty of other great beaches nearby!
