  • Friends over for lunch- any suggestions?

My family is going away for a week tomorrow, and I'm staying put at home to feed the cats and watch over the house.

I'd like to invite friends over for lunch one day, and have a few thoughts as to what I'd serve, but would like to find out what other people would give their friends for lunch.

I've already decided on a hot lunch (because it's winter where I am now) and things like pork or chicken have crossed my mind.

What would you serve at a lunch party for your friends? Any vegetarian suggestions, as one of my friends is a vegetarian.

    Thanks

What kind of cars do they have? Anything good?
      It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.

                Pasta.

Or you could have it set up where everyone makes their own sandwich. We do that a lot and people seem to like it.

Since there is a vegetarian around and in order to get all the odds on my side I would go either for CHICKEN or FISH, they are not mamals, they are politcally-correct in every religion and so on ...

                              Let's see:

An all-you-can-eat buffet. Then tell them that you have to go outside. The hard part is deciding if a BMW, a Lexus, a loaded Accord, or a Toyota Highlander is more your style.

But Pasta is a safe bet as long as your not on Atkins
