Ok, who else here's an arcade nut? Myself, I'm pretty OK at pinball...at least I think this counts as good!

Well, ok, I'm good at that and OutRun 2, the best driving game ever made...

How 'bout you guys...anybody good at arcade games?

Im good at the Silent Scope Arcade version. My friends and I used to be good at Area 51, but I lost practice in all arcade games when our mall arcade downsized itself.
    It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.

Gotta agree AEagle40, Silent Scope rules. Played Silent Scope EX yet? I'm trying to figure out what "airline" that 747-400 is (yes, they actually modeled the visual model semi-decent in SS:EX, causing me to forego crapping my pants)...the tail looks like a blurred Cathay Pacific tail, but the markings on the fuse are ficticious. Whatever, it's a great game, and in the Airliner Hostage mission, you've gotta shoot THROUGH the windows to kill baddies...and thru the cockpit window to kill the boss, who's holding the Captain and a FA hostage... Great game!

I'm pretty good at San Francisco Rush 2049......the bowling that had it just recently took it out, but I had about 1100 miles, and my trecord at course 4 was 3:14:11, better then I've seen anywhere else.

My friend and I used to throw a few dollars a week at Carnevil and beat it a bunch of times.

              I'm good at anything racing.

Have any of you played those airline flight sims where you have a somewhat downsized version of a control column, rudder pedals, and throttles? Those are the greatest. There used to be one at the movie theater where you could fly a bunch of ANA planes on intra-Japan routes but it's since been removed. There was also this really cool one at the Playdium in Toronto, but I haven't been there in forever.

Those flight sim games rule. There was one in Chicago somewhere (can't remember, but it was downtown...we just messed around downtown for a whole day), and I spent a good amount of time landing 747s. You could control your weather, which rules, cause I'd wait till there was a huge crowd in the arcade, then set it to thunderstorms and land it right down the middle. There was a little display on the side of the box showing the view from inside...pretty neat, and worth the two dollars...
