I built my own. That's the only way I can get what I really need and want.

To an extent, you can actually put eMachines and Gateway into one option since Gateway now owns eMachines (I currently own an eMachines T2245). Eventually, this computer will become a Frankenputer, as I have plans to upgrade it in the near future (been putting it off for some time now, but will start things in earnest in the next month, got to save up the money to purchase the items I need to upgrade my computer). I've been upgrading it a little bit at a time, first adding an additional 256MB of memory, then added an 80GB HD (When I first bought my computer, I thought 40GB HD, I'll never fill that thing up! Six months later I had that HD so stuffed that I couldn't even run Defrag on it.) Originaly, I was just going to switch the Celeron out for a P4, but have decided to just go ahead and replace the processor and the MOBO. That also means getting a real video card (I really don't like the integrated graphic thing at all. Of course at the time I bought my computer, I had no clue on video cards at all, I was more interested in processor speed and HD capacity.). I'm still debating on whether to stick with Intel and get a P4 processor or switch over to AMD and get a Athlon 64 processor.

None of the above, my computer is made by Toshiba, the largest brand of laptop computer. I love it, Toshiba M15 is mine with Intel Centrino technology

built my own monster a couple years ago, still using it today with NO problems whatsoever. Best thing about home built is that you know what's going into the system and not some cheap-o parts the big boys use.

                              Quality all the way!! :P
In every organization, there will always be one person who knows what's going on. This person must be fired.
