I dont like soccer, boring as hell. I can watch high school soccer though because you dont have people diving left and right to try to get a call like you do in the pro's. And they are such horrible actors, I dont understand why the ref's call that crap. I have another bone to pick...I'm a hockey goalie which makes me of course a bit biased towards goalies in any other sport. SEriously, that soccer goal is way too big. Give a guy a break, when you have to actually guess which side the ball is going to go in then what's the point, hardly any skill involved. Just dive one way and hope it hits you.

Yeah, a game for REAL men, as long as they can afford all that padding

Yeah, no wonder why most of the WORLD prefers soccer and have never heard of "american football"!
Soccer is the most popular game worldwide, and obviously you guys have never play it to say it sucks. There are no silly timeouts to drink gatorade and you are running on a 90mts field! (expect in the USA, cuz they don't know what a meter is).
I actually like a lot of sports, they all are different and that's cool. I prefer soccer but after that I can play anything! I always try to learn the rules of sports not common to me...after a while I start to like them

I'm glad it's nearly over now.

Then, in a few days, the Tour de France will start.... I just wonder, am I.......?

Well first of all it's not the "Champions League", it's the European Cup. Secondly, no other sport unites the world like soccer does. And that's coming from a Canadian that grew up with hockey, Canadian football and baseball. Soccer truly is the world's sport. More people watched the World Cup final two years ago than any other programme, ever (at least that's what I kept hearing for weeks).

I'm not a fan of Tour de France or Tennis though!

I love digging up these old threads!

Good one. I don't like either sport, by the way.
