Congratulations to Greece, 2004 European Champions!!!!!!!!!!
That's right, Greece under coach Otto "Rehakles" has won the 2004 European Soccer Championship . They were they outsider and have defeated Portugal 1:0 in the finals. Congrats .
YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they beat up portugal!!!!!!!! (sorry Dutch people don't like portugal anymore since they has beat us the game before....)
I thought the reffing was pretty bad...
i thought americans didn't care about soccer? (well at least not European Cup)
My New Photo Name on JP.net is DutchAviation!!!!
why should we fight about wich aircraft manufactor is better..............
The best was that fan getting into the field and giving Figo the Barça flag
I like how he (on purpose) ran full speed into the soccer net and bounced off and the Policia swarmed him and carried him off the field squirming around. I bet they wouldn't have been so pissed had Portugal been winning.
I was cheering for Portugal but atleast a total underdog won, not the usual big country like France, Italy, Germany, or Spain.

Actually I was cheering for Greece, they deserved the triumph....
BTW Spain is no such big country, their team is nice and their league even more, but I don't remember the last time the Spanish team won something.
oh yeah go Greece, our local nick had a bet. I put AUD$10 on greece odds were offered 10:1 so i walked away with $100 bucks. Mind you i shouted the first round of beers
Isnt interesting how all you guys are so supportive of Greece now.
Us Greeks have done it hard by migrating to other parts of the world, e.g. Honolulu, Sydney, Melbourne, and now we finally get repaid be something great.
As the Big Fat Greek Wedding states;- There are 2 kinds of people in this world
1. The Greeks
-and-
2. Everyone else who wish they were Greek.
Congratulations to Greece, 2004 European Champions!!!!!!!!!!

Well, bad choice of countries there. As Avianca 757 said, Spain isn't very successful, Germany's team is full of old crap (and I say that as fan), which basically reflects the situation in Germany, and the glorious days of France are already long gone (remember how they lost to Sengegal in 2002 in Asia?). Their stars are old, and there is not much talent coming up.
