Of course I congratulate Greece victory in Euro 2004 who nicely handed over invitation to the french team members to go and see themselves in Greece (Aller se faire voir chez les Grecs) which also means to go an boil an egg In fact the real good player in this crappy team still remains Zinedine "Zizou" Zidane, who will quit if former player and Fulham coach Jean Tigana is appointed as the new french coach.

Lol,yeah I never really said they were good teams. I just said they were the big countries. I wouldn't really say France is done. They might have one championship left in them. But then again what the hell do I know, I'm just a stupid Canadian. We call football "soccer".

France is done .... for years to come.
Let's suppose Jean Tigana is the new appointed coach
Zizou (phoneatically zeezzuu) Zidane will leave arguing he has lots of more constructive things to carry on with Real Madrid...
So there will be no more real and federative leader in the squad, instead they will end up with a gaggle of French West Indians (Henry, Wiltord and probably Anelka back !!!) who will literrally tear themselves each others. Because NONE of them can reach Zidane's belt They are just f*cking nimbles to get even.
So the story will start over again as far the World Cup is concerned
-Qualifying games for 2006 - eliminated one more time by Bulgaria - farwell Germany.
-Painstakingly qualify for 2010 - eliminated on first round by Cameroon -
-There again in 2014, and again by painstingly eliminating the Faroes Islands But on the first round, this time a nice a US Squad does the job of outing "Les Bleus" (the blues).

I don't think we'll live to see France getting eliminated by the States in football/soccer. Holy, could you imagine the French press if they did lose!?

If the US keeps playing as good and improving as they did in South Korea,
they can reasonably think they are able to match any european squad, including France. During WorldCup 2002, on their game versus Germany, they should have been the winners as they after all dominated the playground.
About the french press, they will overcome and ADMIT it the same way they had to when
-Sénégal won during the opening game
-on last Confederation finals, they had to play prolongated time to win over Cameroon by a meager 1-0. Remember that Cameroon was morning the death on action of strategic midfielder Marc Vivien Foe. Should he would have been there, for France this would have been another story !!! and off
              -Greece superbely eliminated them
