  • Breast Feeding In Public

I've seen a couple things recently both locally and nationally about how a bunch of crabby mothers are getting together to breast feed their babies in protest of establishments that want them to cover up or go to a private place in order to do that.

Here's what I have to say about that: Taking a piss is yet another perfectly normal and natural function of the body involving one of the "private parts", yet I can't whip my junk out and let 'er rip anywhere I please. I'd be cited and possibly arrested.

    Take it home ladies!

I don't find it offensive. Awkward, yes - but not offensive. It's just a child eating.

Keep you dick in your pants as it serves only to empty what you have put in your mouth (and that you can control). I don't have a problem with breast-feeding a baby as it is better than having a screaming hungry baby.

Women should be more sensitive to other people and use a light blanket to cover the baby and the boob. My wife did it that way and never heard anyone object.

No it can't be controlled. My body needs water to survive and a natural part of taking in fluids is the need to expell waste through urination. I have to go to a private place to do this, and so should women who need to breast feed their babies, or at least cover up as to be discreet.

I'd much rather see a boob than a dick.

Plus, I think it's easier to put up with having to walk to the restroom than with a hungry crying baby.

You obviously aren't married with kids.

Where is it written that people with kids are entitled to special rights that people without kids are not entitled to?

Why should a woman with a child be allowed to bare her breast in public while a woman without a child is not allowed to do the same?

If you're gonna do it, then I get a taste first.

When a woman breast feeds in public, it's not because it gives her some kind of wierd pleasure, it's because the damn kid is hungry, and him/her being less than a year old in most cases, is unable to control when and where he feels hungry.

You however are several years older than him, and you should be able to control yourself enough to reach the nearest restroom.

Also, none of the breast milk is going anywhere but the baby's mouth or perhaps a towel, but your pee is going various places where it will stink for a while. The difference in a woman breastfeeding and a guy peeing in public are more than evident.

Personally, I would rather have a kid feeding near me than a kid screaming near me. And it's not because of the boobs.

Come to Ontario, Canada, my friend, where the courts have established a woman's right to bare her breasts is in no way different from a man's right to bare his chest. Men can take off their shirts and - here, at least - so can women....for breastfeeding, or just to cool off.

But what, pray tell, is so offensive about breastfeeding?
It's a breast. Every woman has two.
                          What EXACTLY is the complaint?

No one seems to have a problem with TV shows that depict a psychopath walking down a city street with an automatic weapon shredding every human being he meets ... but a boob? Oh no, we can't be exposed to that!

I have two kids (a seven year old girl and a two year old boy).
I'll expose them to flesh over violence in a heartbeat.

                          Priorities.

Okay...they should make it a law that you can only breast feed if you are between the ages of 18 and 33, and you must have C cup or larger breats, firm and well rounded, (no saggies please) and you have to leave both in the open so we can admire at least one while the baby is doing his business.
