I had many friends who are suffering depression and othe problems relating to the fact that they were in the pentagon when it was attacked. Hussein has clearly shown his support morally for the actions of the hijackers.I hope that makes sense. And I can say as I was at the WTC on Sept. 8, 2001 this was more than a small thing for me.
Yes, I see a lot of them called 'evil', mostly by the USA. The'Axis of Evil', for example. And one more I would call evil is Israel, but this of course is not called so by the US.

Moral support is not a crime, isn't it?

As you have said about the the U.S. "The leader is bad, the people are good" I beleive that applies to Israel. My best friend who is a citizen of Israel is probably the most outspoken person I know about how war is bad. Even more than you aerpix.

Actually, we are not thinking about invading Syria. The White House says we are not planning ANY military action in any other countries..

Right now, that is. But you may remember that the Iraq war started out quite alike, with verbal attacks.

Israel in some way has the same problem as the USA. A bad leader, and much too many of its people behind him.

Well said on that post answering Chris aerpix!

It's a shame that Mitzna (i think that's his name) didn't win. He was genuinely devoted towards peace and most importantly the removal of illegal Jewish settlements in Palestine, a big issue in the whole conflict. Something never agreed before by any Israeli PM, not even by Ehud Barak. That was admirable. With Sharon re-elected, I don't see much hope in the chances of peace talks.

It will be interesting to see what are some of the policies of competing US presidential candidates for the 2004 election. You know who I want to win. Not Bush! Well, the economy will decide that one.

Under the current PM peace will not happen. I don't see why it's the U.S.'s job to solve the problem. The U.S. should pressure Israel to be peaceful but it's not their job to solve problems like this.

Well, stop arms supply, and then you need no pressure. Israel will be wiped out by the Palestinians in no time, which would solve the problem.

On the subject of the next elections, I fear that our hopes will not come true, especially since I can not really see a potential Democratic candidate, save probably Senator Hillary Clinton!

                    Peter

Haha Hillary Clinton would just bring this country downhill even more. She is pro abortion, which is awful IMO. Now I am even more ashamed to be from NY.

                        RE

Isreal is just as bad as the "other countries", it's sad we call them friends, and allies.

What is so bad about abortion?
Her husband was agreat president. While he was President the American economy was doing fine. I didn't really care much about Monika Lewnisky.

Lets not get into abortion. It is too sensitive.
