Coach section of Conti's 764. Even in Coach there is a lot of room to stretch out. PTV's making your trip tgo by fast. Way more legroom than on Lufthansa's A340-300 - Photo taken at Frankfurt am Main (Rhein-Main AB) (FRA / EDDF / FRF) in Germany on June 30, 2003.

    hebrew on the screens:

    B'ruchim HaBa-im

Means something along the lines of "welcome."

I think it means "welcome aboard". CO does that sometimes on intl flights, it says it in a bunch of different languages

              I'm glad y'all care!

Usually it is used for a person's house to invite/welcome someone in.

EMU, sorry about the 30 seconds, but your avatar wasted 3x that for me.

                  That's special.

I was wondering if any of you could tell me why there was hebrew on this plane, as it was in FRA, not EWR (which has service to TLV) or TLV. Cal99 answered my question. There is no need to reply anymore. (but who is stopping you?)

Due to the large jewish population in the N.Y. /N.J. area, Continental best thought it would be good to include it as one of the languages on the PTV's. Especially with their successful Tel Aviv route which could go to 3x daily in 2005!

When you get on a continental plane with PTVs, they say welcome in a whole bunch of languages (probably like 12 or 13), probably the langugae of each ountry they fly to. They even say "welcome aboard eh" for the canadians...well not really. But they should
