        right but my point was that the plane was in FRA, not TLV and it wouldn't have been going to TLV. My question was answered, though.

            Actually Continental flies 777-200ER's on the EWR-TLV route, the PTVS are the same on all longhaul aircraft so they are loaded with all the same content (movies, games, languages, setting)

            NOTE: The 757-200 is a little different.

              Part of a marketing drive toward the passengers. The airline shows it values so much the Israeli market as it does for the other overseas destinations its flies to. Kinda of a win/win, the passenger is happy to be approached in her/his mothertong and altogether gets a proof the airline cares and the latter feels getting a return for its effort !
