Very cool. I like Ladder 28 the best...
Here in the Fox Valley we have three major manufacturers of fire equipment-
      Pierce (Appleton)
      http://www.piercemfg.com/
      Seagrave (Clintonville)
      http://www.seagrave.com/
And last but certainly not least, Oshkosh Truck (Oshkosh).
      http://www.oshkoshtruck.com/

Oshkosh specializes in Airport crash trucks, while the other two are the more common municipal-type trucks...and incidentally Oshkosh and Pierce are related through common ownership.
We see trucks from all over the country (and world) getting delivered on the highway here. My most memorable was the convoy of three flatbeds this spring, with airport crash trucks. Painted on the side of each was "Baghdad International Airport".

Ladder truck is new and cost over $700,000. It was required after the last ladder truck the city had crashed into a school bus while on a call.

These are all from my old Minolta Z1, quality not as good as I am used to now...oh well. All taken as the FD was working a fire at a retirement home.
