Because whatever people may think, our country is no ran by a mad-man, we are civil people, a country that best represents the world, so to day. Iraq is a the stone age.

And Indian, France also supplied bio, and chemical weapons to Iraq. At as your sources say, we must have supplied but this was before both Gulf Wars, I personally believe there wasn't a problem with relations then, and there wasn't a 9/11, and you all believe Iraq had nothing to do with, well Saddam approved of this attack, he supported terrorism, and he applauded those cowards who attack us. I think thats more than enough to take wonder.

        I'd rather believe the newspaper.

            1) Which country has the worlds largest oil reserves?

            2) Which country has the worlds second largest oil reserves?
            Ans: Iraq
Has the US attacked Saudia Arabia? No.
Where does the US get most of its Oil? Canada.
Has the US attacked Canada? No
What percentage of oil to the US is from Iraq? 6%

            3) Are there any proven links between Iraq and the September 11 terrorist attacks?
            Ans: No.
Are there any proven links between Saddam Hussein and gassing kurds? Yes.
Are there any proven links between Saddam Hussein and using chemical weapons? Yes.
Are there any "deaths" directly attributed to the Saddam Hussein regime? According to the UN, 2 million in Iraq, 1 million in Iran during the Iran/Iraq war.

            4) How many countries have nuclear weapons?
            Ans: Eight
Of those eight countries, Pakistan, India, and China still haven't found enough money to feed the majority of their people.

            5) Which is the only country to have used its nuclear weapons?
            Ans: USA
Correction: The weapons were atomic, not nuclear. Very different. 200,000 lives were lost instead of the over 1 million predicted by an Allied invasion. After US bombing and US control, Japan became the world's most power economy per capita during the 1980's and early 90's, but recession has hit them hard.

            6) How many nuclear warheads does USA have?
            Ans: Over 10,000
            Russia/Former USSR has 26,500.

            7) How long has Iraq had chemical and biological weapons?
            Ans: Since the early 1980's.
Yep... they destroyed all their weapons and then proceeded to take over Kuwait.

IA, With all due respect I think your post shows naivety. It's hardly balanced either is it?

              How about;

5A) Did that useage contribute greatly to the ending of a conflict that showed signs of continuing for much longer with consequent greater loss of life & suffering?

10A) Did Iraq present a threat to world peace or the stability of the Middle-East 10 years ago?

              11) Which country has recent history of chemical attacks on both its own & other people?

(Clue: Refer to https://<a href="http://www.kdp.pp.s...mical.html</a> if you're unsure)

              12) Of the US (along with the 56 countries listed in http://graphicsbytritia.com/index01patriot4.html as we may as well include the other countries supporting / assisting with action against Iraq in various forms) & Iraq which poses the greater threat to world peace / stability?

When you said "There you have it folks..." There we have what exactly?

                To all,

First of all, that post is not something i just came up with one day. I have copied word to word from the Sunday Young post, a special supplement of the South China Morning Post. So by saying that my post shows naivety, you are achieving nothing at all. Go tell that to the editor.

Second, why are all you pro-war people only commenting on a few of those facts. Is it because you know that the other's are true, but will weaken your stance?

When I said there you have it folks, what I meant was, "there you have the facts, from a newspaper run by a neutral country." Sorry for any misunderstanding there.

Also, yes Saddam was a bad guy. Infact I call, or rather a few of us here call him Scumball. Nobody, except perhaps he himself, liked him. . All that was trying to say is that Scumball had nothing to do with 9/11. Also, there is no proof that he supported 9/11.

Who says Russia has over 26500 nuclear warheads. I'd rather believe the newspaper, until you back up your stats with some proof.

Also, nyc_spotter, yes, there are some points in here which will please the pro-war people (such as the oil argument, my post, and yours rubbish the oil argument.)

There are also some points in here that will please the anti-war people. Learn to respect those, instead of diverting into side issues. How does feeding people link up to having nuclear weapons?? India and Pakistan both have nuclear weapons because each is afraid that the other will attack them with the nuclear weapons. Personally, neither of them will use their nuclear weapons. Also, just to let you know india's policy of nuclear weapon usage. They have made it very clear that their nuclear weapons are there solely for deterrence and defense, NOT offense.

Also, i'm NOT trying to prove anything...

Well our editor is pretty bad at digging around for facts because this has been part of an email newsletter for the greater part of a year... its actually alot longer and if I can find it I'll post it.

As for the numbers, they came off a CNN article I read a few months ago... I'll see if I can find it.

Who said I was pro-war anyway? I think its good to look at all the facts and not just post the ones that support your view.

First off, SCMP is a leftist rag. They’ve been anti-war since day one. All their decent reporters left after ’97. That says more than enough for me.

                        As for who weaponized Iraq:

Secondly: Who says Russia has over 26500 nuclear warheads. I'd rather believe the newspaper, until you back up your stats with some proof.

I know you hate the US, but sometimes this country isn’t all as bad as you think it is. If you want to hate anyone, hate the PRC for lying to your ass about the SARS virus. And knowing someone who is an administrator at the Prince of Wales Hospital, the worst is yet to come.

                        Good luck, kid.

I don't know... I've gotta go out to brunch with my parents which is at 11:30 in Perth Amboy. I'm still undecided...

I don't want to spend $13 in tolls just to be there 2 hours.
