It's still the best decision for Paul to just "return" the gold medal to the Korean gymnast. Come on, Paul, show to the world that you're very gentleman. Your fans will still support you. For most Americans & your fans, you are still the winner even though you no longer have the gold medal.

If the Korean gymnast wants it so bad, then just give him.

By the way, i actually think Alexei Nemov did better than Paul Hamm in the final > was it pararel bar ?

    Poor Alexei.

well, yeah, i wouldn't either. but i sure as hell would rather take the gold and feel kinda shitty about it, than take the silver and wished i'd had the gold!

in case you guys missed it the judges also missed a couple mistakes made by the koreans, in which had they saw it, would have made the koreans lose even more then they had earned. Therefore, resulting with Hamm still having the gold.

The IOC needs to stand by the rules that everyone competing should already know about.... isn't that the whole point of rules?.....
Yeah...we all agree on that. (That Paul should keep the gold)

That's the most logical answer - but good luck getting Hamm to say that
I try not to listen to him. Period. His voice scares me.

Will Paul be able to compete next 4 years?

    Will he want to?

I think that he should keep the medal, the judges screwed up very badly! And I think that He should not be stripped of his medal, howvere the South Korean gymnast also deserves a medal. I thnkt that the Olympic commitee should grant two gold medals! (just this once)

Also, I am an Alexi Nimov super fan, and was amazed to see how amazingly he did! The judges once again fuc*ed that up by giving hime the most diassapointing score!

Maybe the enitre competition should be done-over?
LOL! Like anyone would actually consent to that!

Like 101 goddamn medals isn't enough.
Yeah...he may have the gold medal now, but I bet a lot more people admire that runner's spirit over Paul's performance. Sometimes, sportsmanship is more impressive than medals...

No, there's no reason to punish the athlete for the judges mistakes. What's done is done. If they were to award 2 gold medals, fine. Paul Hamm has every right to keep that medal, because you can't change the past.
I agree, but deep in his mind, he knows that the other guy was actually better, which can't be a good feeling.
