Sounds like a couple of really rough days there Ansett. Thanks for doin what you do (even though I live about 10,000 miles away from where you do). Uhh...my worst day at work was shortly after my 16th birthday when I lived in Germany (legal drinking age there). My brother took me out to the bars in Munich and I got really drunk. Puked in the backseat of my dad's car on the way home, got 2 hours of sleep, then went to work still drunk. I think that may have been the worst day of my life. I distinctly remember walking down one of the aisles at the store (stocked shelves at a convenience store) holding a case of pickle jars and still being unable to walk straight. As karma would have it, at the end of an 8 hour shift, my boss tells me that somebody isn't able to come into work today and that I have to work overtime. Most definately not a good time.

    Your worst day at Work

Well today is the day that i celebrate being a copper for a year and boy what a time. Here is the worst days i dont want to re - live

    2 weeks into inital service:

Giving my first death notice to a widow who had just lost her husband two weeks ago i was there to give her a notice that her two sons had been killed in a head on collosion.

    4 months in service:

Pulling two collegues out of a wreck police car which had been rapped around a telegraph pole. They were casing a driver who failed to stop for breath testing

    5 months in service:

Being doused in pepper spray, causing me to be taken to hospital with red eyes (i wear contacts and they sorta melted)

    10 months in serice:

Being in the passenger side when we were clipped by an on coming car which was being in persuit

Both of us managed to escape (we were pinned in the car for 2 hours) without serious injury. I recieved 12 stiches to the face from the passengers window smashed and my partner recived 8 stiched to the head where he hit it on the steering wheel on impact
Working...
